The new Bentley SUV – with a revised design from the original EXP 9 F Concept – is being teased by Bentley ahead of its arrival in 2016.

The new design for the Bentley SUV teased
There’s little doubt Bentley will make a success of its SUV, despite the original EXP 9 F Concept getting far more brickbats than plaudits.
As expected, Bentley has replaced the blunt Mulsanne-like front end of their SUV with a nose that looks like its been taken from the Flying Spur, and no doubt added a few more curves on the bits we don’t see in the tease photo.
That should satisfy the requirement to look like a high-riding Bentley instead of the lorry look the EXP 9 F boasted, although we doubt the interior will have change massively (you can see that in the photo gallery below).
Price for the new Bentley SUV is likely to be north of £150k (although many Bentley dealers we’ve spoken to would like to see it well north of £200k) and will come with the W12 engine found in the Flying Spur and Continental GT as well as a V8 option. At some point we will also see the first Bentley Hybrid powertrain in the new SUV.
With 2,000 orders already waiting to be fulfilled the new Bentley SUV looks set to be a success, and we could see the first new concept in the flesh at the Paris Motor Show in September, if not before.
