The MINI Mk 3 – previewed by the MINI Vision Concept – will get its debut on 18th November 2013 – Sir Alex Issigonis’ 107th birthday.

The new MINI will be revealed on 18th November
A couple of weeks ago, MINI revealed the MINI Vision Concept at the MINI Design Studios in Munich which previews the new Mk3 MINI, although it wasn’t a physical car, just a projected hologram.
The reveal will take place at the MINI Plant in Oxford with a party in London the same evening to celebrate, and on the 20th November the new MINI will be revealed in public at events in Los Angeles and Tokyo ahead of the Tokyo and Los Angeles Motor Shows.
Under the bonnet of the new MINI will be a range of 1.5 litre petrol and diesel engines – with power up to 195bhp – that will be shared with BMW, with more powerful Cooper S and JCW MINIs getting turbocharged 1.6 litre engines with approaching 290bhp. Gearboxes will be a six-speed manual and an eight-speed auto.
The new MINI will go on sale after its reveal, and we’re expecting the first cars to arrive in the first quarter of 2014.
