Renault Megane Sport Tourer costs from £18,550 in the UK

The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer boasts a 25-model range in the UK, with prices in the UK from £18,550 to £27,450. On sale 1 December 2016.

It was back at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring that the new Renault Megane Sport Tourer – the Megane Estate – was revealed, and it’s now about to go on sale in the UK priced from £18,550.

Renault hasn’t skimped on the model range offerings either, with six different trim levels – Expression+, Dynamique, Dynamique S and Signature, GT Line and GT – ensuring you should be able to spec a Megane Estate to suit.

Starting at the entry point, the Expression+ comes with LED running lights, 16″ alloys, electric windows, Bluetooth, DAB, height adjustable front seats and good storage.

Dynamique Nav adds in more toys such as auto lights and wipers, Visio with lane departure, traffic sign and auto main beam, electric heated mirrors, keyless, climate, Arkamys sound, 7″ R-Link2 touchscreen and the Nav version gets Sat Nav.

Dynamique S addsd a 8.7″ portal touchscreen for R-Link2, 17″ alloys, rear parking camera with front and rear parking sensors and privacy glass.

The range-topping Signature trim throws luxury at the spec, with 18″ alloys, LED headlights and leather.

Away from the regular trim you can opt for GT-Line, which adds sporty looks inside and out to the Dynamique spec including sports seats, front end tweaks, dark metal 17″ alloys and blue stitching inside.

The Renault Megane Sport Tourer GT takes the looks of the GT Line and adds 4C Control four-wheel steering, Launch Control and Multi-Change Down.

To start off in the Uk there’s a choice of two turbo petrol and two diesel turbo engines; a 1.2 litre TCe 130 petrol and a 1.6 litre TCe 205 (for the GT), and the diesels a 1.5 litre dCi 110 and 1.6 litre dCi 130. Available gearboxes are a manual or a six or seven speed EDC auto.

Next year, Renault will add two more options to the Sport Tourer with the arrival of a Hybrid Assist with a 1.5 litre dCi with electrical assistance, and a dCi 165 diesel option for the GT.

The new Renault Megane Sport tourer goes on sale at Renault’s UK dealers on 1 December 2016, with first deliveries before the end of the year.
