The new MK 7 Volkswagen Golf went on sale in the UK at the end of 2012, but VW are already tinkering with the lineup with the arrival of the new Volkswagen Golf Match, replacing the current Golf SE.
Additional equipment on the Match includes front and rear parking sensors, fogs, mirror pack with automatically folding door mirrors with puddle lights and reverse dip.
Other equipment carried over from the SE includes Adaptive Cruise, Front Assist, City Emergency Braking, PreCrash, auto lights and wipers and driver profile selection.
Choice of engines for the new Golf Match includes the aforementioned 1.4 litre petrol (from £19,680 for the 3-door), 1.6 litre TDI (from £20,535 for the 3-door) and 2.0 litre TDI (from £22,050 for the 3-door).
The new VW Golf Match is now on sale at VW’s UK dealers with first deliveries expected in September.
