A more powerful version of Nissan’s Juke – the Juke Nismo RS – goes on sale in the UK priced from £21,995 and with 215bhp from its 1.6 DIG-T engine.

Nissan Juke Nismo RS costs from £21,995
The Nissan Juke Nismo RS was actually revealed more than a year ago at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, but it’s finally arriving in the UK and costs from £21,995.
Fuel economy is still reasonable for a powerful crossover, with the manual version managing officialo figures of 39.2mpg and the auto 38.2mpg.
Tweaks for Nismo RS include a mechanical limited slip diff for the 2WD models, Torque Vectoring on the 4WD, flappy paddles, body strengthening for better rigidity, better brakes and revised springs and dampers.
Options include Recaro bucket seats, a Safety PAck that includes Xenon headlights, Around View Monitor and Safety Shield, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Moving Object detection.
Colour choices are limited to just three colours – Storm White, Pearl Black and Blade Silver – and there’s just a single bespoke treatment for the interior.
The new Nissan Juke Nismo RS is already in Nissan’s UK showrooms, so if you fancy a proper little urban pocket rocket you could do a lot worse.
