Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium – with added goodies from the GT

Peugeot introduces a new trim level – GT Line Premium – for the 3008 and 5008 SUVs, adding goodies from the GT to the standard fit options. Costs from £28,590 and £30,565 respectively.

Peugeot’s transformation of the 3008 and 5008 in to properly appealing SUVs has been something of a hit, and now they’re looking to add more appeal with a new trim level – GT Line Premium.

Peugeot say the new trim level takes the existing GT Line trim and throws in some of the appealing luxuries from the full fat GT trim to deliver new options for buyers.

Peugeot has added stuff like Open and Go (Keyless with push button start) and the ‘wave a foot to open’ tech for the tailgate to the GT Line spec, as well as drivers seat massage and heated seats for driver and front seat passenger.

There’s also a big glass panoramic roof surrounded by ambient lighting and 19″ ‘Washington’ two-tone alloys for a bit of extra glitz.

There are five engine options on offer from the 1.2 litre PureTech 130 up to the 2.0 litre BlueHDi 150, with prices starting at £28,590 for the 3008 and £30,565 for the 5008.

Mark Pickles, Peugeot UK’s MD, said:

By adding an all-new trim level that incorporates some of the most popular features at a competitive price – and with a host of engine choices available – we’re confident that the ‘GT Line Premium’ will be a real crowd-pleaser for 2018.

Peugeot say the added goodies would cost you £2,720 if you specced up a regular GT Line, so you’ll be saving 595 on the 3008 and £870 on the 5008.

But whatever trim level you do end up buying, both the 3008 and 5008 are a very decent choice.
