Porsche delivers a trio of special edition 911 4 GTS models for the UK, with each special edition built to honour a trio of British Porsche drivers – Bell, Attwood and Tandy.
Porsche may be a German company, but some of its finest endurance drivers have been British, so Porsche has revealed a trio of limited edition 911 Carrera 4 GTS models to celebrate Le Mans outings by Richard Atwood, Derek Bell and Nick Tandy.Derek Bell has won Le Mans an incredible five times, and four of those with Porsche (1981, 1982, 1986 and 1987), and his 911 Carrera 4 GTS comes in Rothmans Blue, white and Gold livery, Richard Atwood’s car is in Porsche Salzburg Red and White and Nick Tandy’s car in DMG MORI White, Black and Grey.
Each car is unique to the driver and comes with the number of their Porsche winning car, a Union Jack symbol and the driver’s signature.
Each car has a spec influenced by the drivers requirements, and with stuff like Alcantara clad steering column, satin finish black door mirrors and carbon floor mats in the mix, as well as manual and PDK ‘boxes.
The cars may be trimmed differently, but each comes with the 450bhp 3.0 litre flat-six, PASM, PTM and 4WD.
As the cars are all slightly different in spec they cost different amounts, With Derek Bell’s blue car costing £123,210, Richard Attwood’s red car £122,376 and Nick Tandy’s white car £123,210.
