Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut

The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013.

Eterniti Motors has been previewing their take on the Porsche Cayenne since the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 – when it was called the Eterniti Hemera – when it was nothing more than a slightly titivated Cayenne to tout for business.

But despite plenty of negatives about the Eterniti Artemis – not least of which are how it looks and how much it costs – Eterniti seem sure they have a market – certainly in Asia – and they’re now showing us what is pretty much the production-ready version of the Artemis (above).

Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

Cosmetically, the Artemis follows the well-trodden path of Cayenne customisers like Gemballa and Merdad with a bespoke, quilted leather interior, wide body kit, smatterings of carbon fibre and in-your-face alloys.

With the Artemis now almost ready to go, and their London Showroom in Park Royal open for business , Eterniti are planning a debut in Asia in 2013 and are planning more models, including a smaller SUV and a supercar which, we expect, will be based on the 911 Turbo.

And in case you’re wondering how much the Eterniti Artemis costs, it’ll set you back more than £250,000 – before you start adding bits from the endless customisation options Eterniti hopes to up-sell.
