Land Rover has teamed up with Abercrombie & Kent to create the ultimate £100k road trip for the Range Rover SVAutobiography across five continents.
The Range Rover SVAutobiography is Land Rover’s most luxurious Range Rover to date, so what better way to enjoy its sybaritic offerings than on a 21 day road trip taking in five continents, eight countries and some of the world’s best hotels and restaurants? That’s clearly what Land Rover thinks, so they’ve teamed up with Abercrombie & Kent – luxury travel experts – to create an ultimate world road trip behind the wheel of the SVAutobiography, and it comes with an ultimate price tag – prices start from £100,000.
The road trip – created to mark the arrival of the ultimate Range Rover created by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations – kicks off in Europe on the mountain roads around Monaco, the coastal road to Portofino and the Italian Lakes, with stays at the Four Seasons Cap Ferrat, Villa D’Este (a well known petrolhead venue) and the San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge in the Dolomites, with refreshments at Joel Robuchon at the Metropole. There’s also activities including fragrance making in Provence and a glacier picnic in the Alps by chartered helicopter.
The second leg sees guests flying to Marrakech for three nights at the Royal Mansour, drives in the desert around Ouarzazate and a drive in to the Atlas Mountains with lunch at Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot.
After the Morrocan leg, guest fly off to Arizona desert and the Amangiri resort in Utah, with sweeping views of deep canyons and plateaus, with hiking and scrambling excursions in Antelope Canyon and an al freso dinner at Sandstone Butte and breakfast in the Zion National Park.
Leg four of this ultimate road trip moves to Chile and the Atacama Desert, staying at Awasi in their luxurious lodges, with a personal concierge creating bespoke experiences including a drive to the Alamo Observatory.
The final leg moves guest to Sydney, with a night’s stay at the Park Hyatt after a VIP bridge climb and behind the scenes access to the Sydney Opera House.
After that, the road trip moves to Tasmania for stunning drives through the rugged wilderness and coastal heathland behind the wheel of the SVAutobiography, a boat trip to Wineglass Bay, following which you’ll stay at the Saffire Freycinet, complete with breakfast of oysters and local sparkling wine whilst standing knee deep in the estuary.
With all that done, and memories for your old age safely stored, it’s time to fly back to London.
If all this floats your boat – and your pockets are deep enough – jump over to Land Rover’s website to book your place and get more detail.
