The Renault KADJAR is on its way as a bigger take on the Renault Captur, with Renault starting to trail the KADJAR across social media ahead of a 2015 Geneva Motor Show reveal.

The world and its dog continues its love affair with high-riding crossovers and SUVs – from the most compact to the most gargantuan – and Renault are planning a new assault on the still burgeoning market with a new C-Segment Crossover/SUV – the Renault KADJAR.
The name is made up from ‘KAD’ – inspired by ‘quad’ – and ‘JAR’ – indicating ‘agile’ – as well as ‘jaillir’ representing ’emerging from nowhere’. So the Renault KADJAR is clearly supposed to be an agile bolt from the blue with four-wheel-drive.
Under the skin, the KADJAR is likely to be Renault’s take on the very successful Nissan Qashqai, so you can expect a similar range of engines and built on the Renault-Nissan CMF platform.
Renault are planning to be active on social media in the coming week as they tease the KADJAR (with photos like the one below) and are planning to reveal the KADJAR on 2 February ahead of a public reveal at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
For now, the closest you can get is the spy shot of the KADJAR (above), or just imagine a bigger Captur, or a Qashqai with Renault clothes.
