Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition

The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition is a limited edition of the already limited edition Fabia Monte Carlo, with added equipment.

We all understand that producing limited edition cars adds a bit of showroom gloss, with car makers adding something extra – and often unique to the model, to create a ‘Limited Edition’ with extra equipment to boost sales.

But is it stretching things a bit far when a car maker takes an already ‘Limited’ edition car and bolts more goodies on to it to create a ‘new’ limited edition?

That’s exactly what Skoda has done with the Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition, taking the limited edition Fabia Monte Carlo – which gets black trim on the exterior with 17″ black alloys, black sports seats and contrast stitching – and bolts on an Amunsden SatNav and Bluetooth to make the Monte Carlo Tech Edition.

You can have the Tech Edition in one of two colour schemes – red or white with a black roof – and a  choice of the 1.2 litre TSI or 1.6 litre TDI engines.

Skoda say they are going to sell just 500 Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Editions with each engine with prices at £11,990 for the 1.2 TSI and £12,960 for the 1.6 TDI.

The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Edition is now on sale in Skoda’s UK showrooms.
