Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement adds gloss to the Yeti

Skoda has revealed a range-topping Yeti SUV – the Yeti Laurin & Klement – with extra equipment over the Yeti Elegance.

It might sounds like a firm of solicitors, but Laurin & Klement (Václav Laurin and Václav Klement) are the founders of what is now SKODA and Skoda use their names to badge their range-topping cars, hence the Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement.

The Yeti Laurin & Klement starts off as a Yeti Elegance before Skoda bolt on £4,000 worth of extra goodies, and you can have it only as a 4WD with the 1.8-litre TSI 160PS, 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS DSG or 2.0-litre TDI CR 170PS engines.

In addition to the regular Elegance spec, the Yeti Laurin & Klement gets 17″ Annapura alloys,. silver roof rails, black mouldings on the sides, auto dimming driver’s door mirror and L&K inscriptions, whilst inside you’ll get Columbus SatNav with DAB, heated windscreen, panoramic roof, Park Assist, leather with silver stitching, Piano black inlays and a heap of L&K logos dotted around.

Skoda say that despite £4,000 worth of extra goodies on offer the Yeti Laurin & Klement costs just £2k more than the Yeti elegance, with the 1.8 TSI costing £24,835, the 2.0 TDI with 140PS and DSG £26,400 and the 2.0 TDI with 170PS £25,980.

The Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement can now be ordered from Skoda UK dealers.
