
Toyota Auris Hybrid GB25 celebrates 25 years of Toyota in the UK
The Toyota Auris Hybrid GB25 has been revealed as a Special Edition Auris Hybrid celebrating 25 years since Toyota started building cars in the UK.
Toyota has been building cars in the UK for 25 years, and to celebrate they’ve revealed a new special edition Auris which will add to the more than four million Toyotas already built in the UK.The Toyota Auris Hybrid GB25 is being built in Toyota’s Burnaston Plant and comes with a hybrid engine built by Toyota in Deeside, Wales, with a good spec and cosmetic titivations.
With a bi-tone paint job consisting of Tokyo Red, Pearl White or Aspen Grey bodywork and contrasting roof with the front grille and mirror caps in black, the Auris GB25 looks distinctive and appealing and gets a ’25 years building in Britain’ badge incorporating the Union Flag.
Inside you get black leather upholstery with quilted finish and contrast silver stitching, Toyota Touch 2 multimedia with 7″ screen, DAB, Bluetooth and rear view camera.
The Toyota Safety Sense Package comes as standard with Pre-Crash Safety, Autonomous Braking, Automatic High Beam, Road Sign Assist and Lane Departure Warning.
Other standard equipment includes 17″ alloys, privacy glass, Climate, electric windows and keyless.
Under the bonnet is exactly what you’d expect from a mainstream Toyota family car, with the 1.8 litre petrol electric hybrid promising official economy of 72.4mpg and 91g/km.
The Toyota Auris Hybrid GB25 goes on sale at Toyota’s UK dealers on 1 July priced from £24,045.
