USED Volvo XC40 on Care By Volvo plan just £395 a month
The Care by Volvo way of subscribing to car is extended in Sweden and now includes the option of an almost new XC40 from £395 a month all in.
Working just like a mobile phone contract, the Care by Volvo offering delivers a brand new Volvo with everything – from insurance to servicing – included in the price. And now it’s being extended to ‘used’ cars, at least in Sweden.
Volvo are offering an almost new XC40 – in D4 or D5 guise – on a 1-18 month subscription basis and, just as it does with new Volvos, it comes with everything in the price.
The headline price is just £395 a month for the XC40, and even includes winter tyres and insurance, as well as access to Volvo’s Sunfleet (soon to be Volvo M) in case you need a different car for a specific purpose.
Volvo’s Kristian Elvefors said:
We know through surveys that about a third of Swedes have the desire not to own their car. And we also know that the customers we have today who have a car through Care by Volvo are younger than our other customers, and many of them have never had a car before. That’s why it’s going to be very exciting to see which ones are attracted to our new offer.
Most of us are blind to the real cost of owning a car, and a price point of £395 for all your motoring costs – except fuel – in a car as good as the new XC40 does sound pretty appealing.
For now, this is a Sweden only offer. But if it works out expect the UK to get a similar offering before long.
