Renault has revealed a facelift for the budget Dacia Duster for 2014 which will debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The 2014 Dacia Duster (pictured) gets a facelift in Europe
The UK has only had the Dacia Duster SUV since the start of 2013 (Renault’s budget compact SUV that’s shaken up perceived norms in the sector) but it’s been available in Europe for some time.
Under the skin remains as before, with the changes to the Duster amounting to not much more than a bit of titivation; enough to make those who know realise this is a new Duster.
The usual facelift tricks have been employed, with the Duster getting a redesigned grill – which gets two chrome strips – new air intake and double-optic headlights and daytime running lights.
There’s a new set of roof bars complete with slatted supports, a set of 16″ ‘Dark Metal’ alloys, a chrome plated tail pipe and new badging.
It’s hardly a comprehensive makeover, but will perhaps be enough to get more potential buyers to take the Duster seriously.
The changes to the Duster for 2014 apply only to the European market version, but it seems likely the UK’s RHD Dusters will get a similar makeover in the not too distant future.
