The new BMW X6 – a facelift of the current car – has leaked out ahead of an official reveal showing an X6 that looks a bit more refined.

The new BMW X6 facelift (pictured) a little earlier than BMW planned.
With the arrival of the new BMW X5 a year ago, it’s about time its coupe sibling – the BMW X6 – got a similar facelift. And here it is, albeit a little earlier than BMW intended.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the X6’s challenging looks haven’t stopped it flying out of BMW showrooms at a rate far greater than BMW ever expected, so much so we now have a baby brother for the X6 with the new BMW X4.
No doubt the subtle tweaks to the X6 – which seem to mirror much of what BMW did to update the X5 and include a back end that contrives to look less of an afterthought than before – will only improve sales of BMW’s big coupe SUV.
Inside, the new X6 looks to be pretty much the new X5 in appearance, as you would expect, which promises a more appealing cabin with more tech and more upmarket fixtures and fittings, and under the bonnet will be the same range of engines as the X5.
We’re expecting the new X6 to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October before arriving in UK showrooms early in 2015.
We’ll have more details once BMW make the new X6 official
