2017 Land Rover Discovery struts its Off-Road prowess
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is shown demonstrating its off-road abilities in two new videos as the tease for the Discovery 5 continues ahead of its Paris debut.
When we had the last tease for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery, all of four days ago, we did comment that Land Rover had form for extracting every ounce out of a new car reveal, so we shouldn’t be surprised that today we get another tease for the new Discovery. This time, the focus is on the fifth generation Discovery’s off-road abilities, and we get to see the Disco climbing this, fording that and generally behaving in a way only a Land Rover really can, clearly stating the new Discovery may be posher and slicker than before, but that its USP is firmly intact.
The second of the two Disco videos focuses on the family friendly nature (seven seats in a big protective box) and ropes in the children of the Discovery’s engineers and designers to create the final camouflage for the Disco before its reveal at the Paris Motor Show.
Land Rover has managed to demonstrate with these two videos the central plank of the argument for buying a new Discovery: it really can go anywhere, at any time and it can do so whilst enveloping your entire family – even if you have five kids – in a big Land Rover protective blanket.
Look out world – the new Discovery is coming.
