2018 Jeep Wrangler REVEALED ahead of LA Motor Show debut
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has had a bit of a revealed ahead of its debut at the Los Angles Motor Show, with images showing the new look and promise.
The new Jeep Wrangler – Jeep’s old-school, hardcore off-roader – isn’t due to make an appearance until the Los Angels Motor Show at the end of this month.
But, no doubt, in an effort to inject a bit of interest in the latest take on Jeep’s rufty-tufty special, we get a couple of photos to whet our appetite and garner some anticipation.
Unsurprisingly, Jeep has used the Porsche 911 ethos of car evolution in design, so the keystone-shaped grill is present and correct, as are the round headlights and square tail lights so, certainly to a casual observer, the new Jeep is still the old Jeep – just new.
Jeep are promising much better aerodynamics for the new Wrangler – which wouldn’t be hard – as well as more efficient powertrains, more safety features, more technology and more open air options.
There will be a fold-down windscreen for off-road purists, dozens of different door, top and windscreen combinations and, thanks to Jeep’s latest four-wheel drive setup, practically unparalleled off-road ability.
The new Jeep Wrangler will debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show on 29 November, but don’t expect it to arrive in the UK until at least the middle of 2018.
