2018 Range Rover Overfinch revealed
Overfinch, the original, and probably best known, enhancer of the Range Rover, reveal their latest 2018 Overfinch Range Rover based on Land Rover’s recent facelift.
The 2018 Range Rover has only been with us for a couple of months, and although it’s not a new Range Rover, it is a clever and appealing update to Land Rover’s flagship model.Slicker looks, inspired by the new Range Rover Velar, make the full fat Range Rover look sleek and modern, all models get integrated tailpipes and there are new lighting options too.
Inside, the Range Rover gets the Touch Duo Pro Infotainment with a pair of 10″ screens to join the 12″ instrument panel to give the RR a properly upmarket feel, and there are added goodies like betters seats, 4G wi-fi, new ambient lighting and JLR’s Activity Key.
But for a number of buyers, a regular Range Rover is a bit too common, so they turn to one of the number of Range Rover Enhancers to deliver something more individual. Like Overfinch.
Overfinch are the original enhancers of the Range Rover, from a time when there was so much they could do that Land Rover couldn’t (or wouldn’t) that they had a bit of an open door to create a Range Rover buyers really wanted.
That’s got tougher as the Range Rover has got more sophisticated and Land Rover offer bespoke customisations, but despite Gerry McGovern’s mission to wipe out companies like Overfinch, they thrive.
So those looking for a more individual RR will be pleased to see the arrival of the 2018 Overfinch Range Rover complete with a more assertive front end with carbon fibre air dam, Overfinch LED running lights, new carbon fibre back bumper with improved diffuser and engraved exhaust tips.
Inside offers whatever you want, but the starting point is wider seats with deeper cushioning and an enhanced range of leather, trim and other enhancements to give buyers the interior they long for.
Prices start at £114,990 for the 3.0 TDV6 rising to £144,990 for the V8 Supercharged Autobiography.
That’s a chunk more than the regular Range Rover direct from Land Rover, but at least the Overfinch enhancements hold their value.
