Range Rover by Overfinch has 30% higher residuals than a standard Range Rover

Buyers of a new Range Rover with enhancements by Overfinch can look forward to a used value that is 30 per cent higher than a standard Range Rover.

It’s generally considered that money you spend on enhancing a new car by getting one of the plethora of customisers to add interesting bits is money down the drain.

But as we reported back in 2012, that’s definitely not the case with the Range Rover by Overfinch.

In fact, the last model of the Range Rover had residuals a full 23 per cent more if it was an Overfinch version rather than a regular Range Rover, which made opting for an Overfinch makeover almost a no-brainer.

But it seems that Overfinch have managed to improve on that with the new Range Rover, with CAP reporting that the new RR when enhanced by Overfinch is worth a whopping 30 percent more when you sell it on than a standard Range Rover would be.

Overfinch boss, Kevin Sloane, said:

Our strategic decision to further increase the luxury and exclusivity of Overfinch Range Rovers has been justified.
A seven per cent increase in the residual value of our vehicles to 30 per cent, compared to the standard model, is testament to the increased desirability of an Overfinch Range Rover.
CAP’s opinion reaffirms Overfinch’s market-leading position.

The same can’t be said for a lot of the specialist Range Rover titivators, so if you feel the need to enhance your new RR with stuff like better alloys, custom interiors and handlaid carbon fibre bodystyling, it seems there’s only one sensible route.
