Volkswagen has had a play with the Tiguan and replaced the Tiguan SE with the Tiguan Match with more equipment for less money.

The VW Tiguan Match (pictured) returns for 2013
Back in 2010, Volkswagen had a play with the Tiguan model lineup and replaced the Tiguan SE with a better equipped Tiguan Match. And history is now repeating itself.
The changes are not enormous – and you’ll need to look quite hard to see them – but the Match does get a set of ‘New Orleans’ alloys to pretty up the outside, although most of the changes are inside.
They include the RNS 315 colour SatNav touchscreen that gets Bluetooth and MDI interface with a CD/DVD player, SD slot and DAB. Climate is standard as are picnic tables and Park Assist.
Engines on offer in the Match are the 1.4 litre TSI, 2.0 litre TSI and the 2.0 litre TDI with either 140PS or 177PS, with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The new Tiguan Match can now be ordered from VW’s UK dealers, with first customer cars arriving in September.
