Hyundai UK target SME fleet sales

Having made a pretty good job of sales to individuals car buyers, Hyundai are now targeting SME business fleets with 27 new business centres.

The last few years has seen Hyundai convince the car buying public that their cars are as credible and well built – not to mention appealing – as anything from the mainstream; no longer a budget option, Hyundais are now a real force.

So once you’ve cracked Joe Public and his preconceptions, the next step is to crack the bit of Joe Public that buys a few cars at a time – the owners of small and medium businesses (SME) with a modest fleet (by fleet standards) of up to ten cars.

With that in mind, Hyundai has appointed 27 Fleet Business Centres at Hyundai dealers across the UK with dedicated staff – and extra hand-holding and facilities – to coax the small business owner in to a bit of Hyundai goodness for his/her business.

As well as newly-trained staff capable of giving the right advice and right deal to business owners, Hyundai has also fitted their new Fleet Business Centres with a ‘work’ area for the hard-pressed business owner to do some work whilst their car/s are being serviced, and have even thrown in free wi-fi to keep them productive.

And if business customers don’t fancy supping Hyundai’s coffee and using their wi-fi whilst they work, Hyundai are also offering a free loan car and a pick-up and return service as an alternative.

It’s a sensible move by Hyundai to mop up fleet sales from small businesses, businesses where the owner usually makes the decision.
