Did you buy yourself a SUPERCAR for Christmas? Plenty did.

A Supercar may be beyond the reach of many as a Christmas present, but it seems plenty of high net worth individuals treated themselves to a Supercar for Christmas.

It’s a standing joke that if any of the Cars UK team are asked what they want for Christmas, top of the list is the favourite car of the moment.

But that’s meant in jest (with perhaps just the smallest of prayers that a miracle could happen), with the expectation being more like a new jumper or some smellies. But for many high net worth individuals, Christmas is the perfect time to treat themselves to a nice new set of above average wheels.

We’ve been talking to Magnitude Finance (the right guys to try if you want to finance something a bit above average), and they tell us that the run-up to Christmas was a bumper time for Supercar finance deals, with many seeing Christmas as the ideal opportunity to treat themselves for a year well done.

So in the run-up to Christmas Magnitude stumped up finance on a £340k Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, a £272,000 Rolls Royce Wraith and a £600,000 Bugatti Veyron, as well as a chunk of £100k Range Rovers and enough Range Rover Sports to put one behind every advent calendar window. All of which makes our own gifts look a bit feeble.

Still, it’s the though that counts.
