The new Vauxhall Mokka X – the facelifted Mokka – arrives in Vauxhall’s UK showrooms in October and will cost from £17,590.
The Vauxhall Mokka has actually been around for four years, so Vauxhall decided it was time for a bit of a facelift and a new name, with the new Vauxhall Mokka X (‘X’ for SUV in Vauxhall new-speak) arriving at the Geneva Motor Show in March. But despite a reveal in March, with the usual facelift stuff like new grille, new lights and a few interior titivations, it seems you’re not going to be able to get a Mokka X until October.
When the Mokka X does arrive in Vauxhall’s showrooms, it comes in so many varieties you’ll be hard-pressed to know which of the 44 – yes, 44 different Mokka X models – to choose from.
The starting point is the 1.6 litre 115PS Mokka Design Nav at £17,590, all the way up to the Mokka X Elite Nav with 1.6 litre 136PS diesel AWD costing £26,765.
In between the tow Mokka X extremes you’ll find a variety of trims, drivetrains and engines, with a choice of Active, Design Nav, Elite and Elite Nav trim, FWD and AWD, manual and automatics and engines including the new 1.4 T with up to 152PS and the 1.6 CDTi with 110PS or 136PS.
Design Nav Mokkas come with 18″ alloys, LED running lights, Fogs, silver roof rails, 8″ infotainment with IntelliLink and OnStar, with the range-topping Elite Nav trim adding in leather, heated seats and steering wheel and privacy glass.
The new Vauxhall Mokka X will be in Vauxhall’s showrooms in October 2016.
