The Audi SQ7 TDI – Audi’s diesel SUV with extreme power – goes on sale in the UK, priced from £70,970, with fiurst customer SQ7s due in August.
The Geneva Motor Show in March saw Audi deliver a new diesel version of their biggest SUV, the Q7, which is not, in itself, that remarkable. But what was remarkable is just how much power and performance the Audi SQ7 TDI was able to bring to the party, with its new 4.0 litre diesel V8 producing a mighty 664lb/ft of torque to go with a not insignificant 429bhp, enough in combination to shift the big Audi SUV to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds thanks, in no small part, to its new electric turbo.
And now the Audi SQ7 is going on sale in the UK, and it’s going to cost you at least £70,970 before you start troubling the options list, an options list that includes all-wheel steering.
On the cosmetic front, the SQ7 comes with a unique grille, aluminium finish on the side air intakes and mirrors, LED headlights, four pipe exhaust and 20″ alloys.
Inside there’s seven seats on offer, upholstered in Valcona leather, with row three folding electrically, powered tailgate, full digital Audi Virtual Cockpit and embedded SIM card.
The options include a Technology Package which gives wireless phone charging, heads-up display and Audi Connect, alloys up to 22″, Matrix LED headlights, Sport seats and Bose sound.

I agree with Peter.
Peter Abatan says
Not impressed at all, as Audi continue to dump diesel engines on the UK market. Especially, since the UK took no action after dieselgate. The motoring industry is still not taking the necessary steps to kerb NOx emissions.
