Alfa Romeo Stelvio First Edition
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio First Edition has been revealed by Alfa and gives us a first look at the regular Stelvio. Comes with 276bhp and £50k price tag.
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV – a model Alfa pray will make them credible and profitable once more – arrived back in December in the guise of the range-topping Stelvio Quadrifoglio. But sales of the Quadrifoglio will be small compared to the more prosaic versions, and today we get the first look at the Stelvio shorn of its Quadrifoglio appendages in the Stelvio First Edition.
Admittedly a goodie-laden first edition model isn’t entirely representative of the more prosaic Stelvio models, but it gives us a decent idea.
Under the bonnet, instead of the Quadrifoglio’s 503bhp Ferrari-developed V6, there’s a four-cylinder 2.0 litre turbo petrol delivering a decent 276bhp and 295lb/ft of torque, all going through an eight-speed auto to Alfa’s Q4 all-wheel drive, and is enough to crack 62mph in 5.7 seconds.
The First Edition also gets 20″ alloys, painted calipers, chrome bits, privacy glass, skid plates, twin exhausts and Bi-Xenon headlights.
Inside there’s black leather, electric heated seats, 3D Sat Nav, wood trim, 8.8″ Infotainment, Forward Collision warning, Emergency Braking, Lane Assist, reversing camera, parking sensors, auto lights and power tail gate.
No UK prices for the Alfa Stelvio First Edition yet, but we expect it will be a limited run costing around £50k.
