Exactly a moth ago we brought you a report about the drivers version of the Lamborghini Gallardo – The Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni – created as a limited edition run of cars to commemorate the career of Lamborghini’s most influential test driver.

The LP550-2 features a unique colour scheme, with a big stripe right up the middle of the car – echoed on the interior trim – but more importantly the Lp550-2 is set up to be a real driver’s car, with rear wheel drive replacing the LP560-4’s four wheel drive.

The LP550-2 Balboni has now been launched at dealerships throughout the world – including here in the UK – and Lamborghini has seen fit to produce an ‘Advertorial’ for the LP550. It features almost five minutes of the LP550 and Valentino Balboni, and is worth the watch.

There will only be 250 Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni models produced, with the UK price set at £137,900.
