New 2019 Toyota Supra LEAKS
The new Toyota Supra has been leaked on the cover a Japanese car magazine just weeks before Toyota reveal the new Supra at the Geneva Motor Show.
A few days ago we had the first tease for the new Toyota Supra, but now we get much more with the arrival of the first leaked photo of the 2019 Supra.Photos of the next edition of Best Car have been published on Supra fan site SupraMKV and they show not only the production Supra (above), but also the racing take on the new Supra, which looks to fit in with the tease image Toyota revealed this week.
The second part of the joint project with BMW which is also delivering the new BMW Z4, the new Supra is a bit shorter and a bit wider than its predecessor, and it looks suitably impressive as a big brother for the GT86, with many of the cues taken from the FT-1 Concept.
Despite expectations the new Supra would be badged Gazoo, these images show a Supra sporting Toyota badges, so we guess it’s the new Toyota Supra after all.
It looks like the Supra’s BMW 3.0 litre six-cylinder engine comes with 335bhp – which isn’t a huge leap on the last Supra – and can get to 62mph in a very respectable 3.8 seconds. Which is a chunk better than the last Supra.
The new Toyota Supra – and its racing sibling – will debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show next month.
