DS 3 Cafe Racer tempts you to buy with ‘Ace Cafe’ BIKER graphics
Citroen’s ‘posh’ brand DS delivers a new limited run model – the DS 3 Cafe Racer – complete with graphics inspired by Ace Cafe Biker Culture. Just 150 for the UK.
The Citroen DS 3 – sorry, it’s now just the DS 3 – has been around for so long it’s become part of the furniture, but despite being a bit long in the tooth it’s still a very appealing car.But in the face of newer competition it can (unfairly) be overlooked, so DS are delivering a funky new DS 3 – the DS 3 Cafe Racer – to grab a bit of coverage and tempt buyers in to a DS 3. And remind us the DS 3 is still alive and very much kicking.
Inspired by the world of Cafe Racers, the limited run Ds 3 (just 150 for the UK) gets graphics designed to evoke the era designed by Bordeaux-based BMD Design on the roof, a new badge on the bonnet and 17″ Bellone Black alloys with cream inserts. It’s available in Ink Blue, Perla Nera Black, Platinum Grey and Ruby Red, all with a Pantheon Cream roof to better display the BMD graphics.
Inside there’s a matching cream painted dash with another Cafe Racer graphic and Trinitario Brown Nappa leather. Spec levels are similar to the DS 3 Prestige.
Engine choices are the PureTech 110 and 130 petrols with manual gearbox (auto option on the 110), with prices of £21,305 for the 110, £22,825 for the 110 auto and £21,825 for the 130 manual.
The DS 3 Cafe Racer is now available to order at UK DS dealers.
