Now it’s the Jaguar E Pace’s turn to get a Chequered Flag Special Edition

The Jaguar E-Pace Chequered Flag Special Edition arrives to join the rest of Jaguar’s Chequered Flag specials with extra equipment an unique paint jobs.

We assumed Jaguar had managed to extract all it could out of its latest wheeze to get punters in to showrooms by delivering Chequered Flag Edition models wherever it could.

We’ve already had the XF Chequered Flag, the F-Type Chequered Flag and the F-Pace 300 Sport and F-Pace Chequered Flag.But it seems that’s not enough for Jaguar, so now we get the E-Pace Chequered Flag to add to the ‘come and buy me’ list of enhanced Jaguars.

In the E-Pace’s case, the Chequered Flag is a sort of titivated R-Dynamic model with new 19″ alloys, unique treadplates, Sports Body Kit, LED headlights, Black Exterior Pack and ‘Chequered Flag’ badges. It also gets a choice of Photon Red (exclusive to the Chequered Flag), Corris Grey and Yulong White paint jobs.

Inside doesn’t get left out of the makeover, with an R-Dynamic steering wheel, black flappy paddles, 12.3″ digital cluster, black leather heated front seats with red stitching, a 10″ infotainment and even Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

You also get a choice of engines, with the 2.0 litre turbo diesel with 148bhp or 178bhp or 2.0 litre turbo petrol with 197bhp or 246bhp, all with a nine-speed auto ‘box and 4WD.

Prices for the Jaguar E-Pace Chequered Flag Edition start at £40,050 and it’s now on sale at Jaguar’s UK dealers.
