Porsche Taycan Dash looks familiar
Porsche releases a partial image of the new electric Taycan’s dashboard as it announces the Taycan will have Apple Music integrated.
Now the official debut of the electric Porsche Taycan is nearing, we’re starting to move in to teases which are rather more specific. Like a look at the new Taycan’s dash. The image of the upper part of the Taycan’s dashboard has been released by Porsche as it announces the integration of Apple Music in to the Taycan. But more of that in a moment.
Interestingly, Porsche appears to be doing the same with the Taycan’s interior as it has with the exterior; it’s just a bit different to other Porsches, but familiar enough for buyers to know it’s a Porsche.
So the Taycan’s dash looks very like the latest 911’s, with a slab of trim in front of the passenger – with ‘Taycan’ script – an infotainment screen in the center – which just happens to show the time as ‘9:11’ – and a familiar trio of dials (although we can only see two) in front of the driver.
The displays are digital so drivers will be able to configure the setup which floats their boat, but we bet many will go for the traditional Porsche display.
Although the release of the photo by Porsche gives us our first look at the production Taycan’s interior, it’s actually about the announcement that the Taycan will get Apple Music integrated (free for a while), complete with curated playlists from Porsche.
To ensure you can use your freebie Apple Music toy, Porsche are also including three years of roaming internet connection.
