Audi Q2 2.0 TFSI quattro 190PS S tronic brings petrol-powered 4WD to the Q2
The new Audi Q2 2.0 TFSI quattro 190PS S tronic – revealed today – adds the option of lively petrol power and 4WD to Audi’s smallest SUV.
The Audi Q2 is a car which, in many ways, seems a step too far in the game of filling every niche Audi can envisage. But actually, it’s a very decent little premium urban SUV, much better looking in the flesh than in pictures, well made, practical and rather nice to drive.
Now, Audi has decided that what the Q2 needs is a proper petrol-powered Q2 complete with Audi’s quattro 4WD. Step forward the new Audi Q2 2.0 TFSI quattro 190PS S tronic.
For the first time a petrol-powered Q2 is available with quattro 4WD, and here in the Q2 that 190 PS 2.0 litre TFSI delivers 187bhp, enough to get to 62mph in 6.5 seconds and with official economy of up to 44.8mpg depending on the trim level you have.
The trim levels for the 190PS quattro Q2 are either S Line or the Q2 Edition #1, with the Edition #1 coming with 19″ alloys, Quantum Grey paint, black styling pack, Manhattan Grey for the contrast bumpers, wheel arch trims, side skirts and bumper inserts, Nappa Sports seats with brown contrast stripes and stitching and LED interior lighting.
But even the S Line version gets 18″ alloys, LED headlights, Front Sports Seats, MMI Nav, Audi Connect Infotainment and auto lights and wipers.
The Audi Q2 quattro 190PS is now on sale at Audi’s UK dealers with prices from £31,760 to £36,750.
