You might wonder what an Audi R8 V10 Plus Coupe with Audi’s entire Sport Performance Parts thrown in to the mix would look like, and cost. Wonder no more; it looks like this and costs a whopping £176,560.

The majority of the changes come with carbon fibre reinforced plastic aerodynamic changes, with a front splitter and modified air intakes, a set of side skirts, a rear diffuser and a prominent rear wing, increasing downforce at 205mph by 100kg, and even at 93mph there’s 52kg – double the regular R8.

Suspension changes mean upgraded adjustable coilovers, the wheels get changed for 20″ milled lightweight jobs, there are carbon ceramic brakes too and the exhaust gets titanium thrown in to the mix.

Inside, the R8 Sport Performance gets an Alcantara steering wheel with a red top marker, a rear view camera and Audi Smartphone interface in addition to the usual stuff like Nappa bucket seats, MMI and Virtual Cockpit.

Power is unchanged in this limited run R8, but with the regular car already delivering 601bhp, four-wheel drive and 0-62mph of 3.2 seconds, performance will match the new R8’s more dramatic looks. 

The regular R8 V10 Plus costs from £141,200, so the entire Sport Performance list of additions comes in at £35,360, a jump of around 25 per cent.

Audi say there are just five of the 44 run of this special R8 coming to the UK, on a first come, first served basis. If it floats your boat, you need to be quick.
