It seems BMW are planning to go bigger and more luxurious with a concept of a BMW 9 Series heading for a debut at the Beijing Auto Show.

a BMW 9 Series Concept debut at beijing?
We’ve only just had confirmation that a new BMW 7 Series SUV is on the way as BMW continues to push at both ends of their range, with the X7 aimed at the new Range Rover and Mercedes GL.
Auto Motor und Sport are reporting that BMW are planning to reveal the 9 Series as a concept at the Beijing Auto Show later this month.
We’ve already had something of a preview of BMW’s high-end ambitions with the BMW Gran Lusso Concept from last year which we saw as a possible future BMW 8 Series – a BMW 7 Series Coupe, if you like.
But with a new platform on the way for BMW’s high-end cars – which will be shared with the next generation Rolls Royce Ghost, the next generation Phantom and the BMW X7 – plans for an ultra-luxury BMW 9 Series seem a no-brainer.
Perhaps – and hopefully – the new 9 Series concept will take its lead from the Gran Lusso’s design, add a couple of extra doors and turn in to the 9 Series?
We’ll find out at Beijing.
