Clarkson, Hammond & May’s ‘The Grand Tour’ gets itself a ‘GT’ logo
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the logo for the old Top Gear crew’s new show – The Grand Tour – as there’s nothing much in the news at the moment.
The success of the new Amazon Prime show from the old Top Gear presenters of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, isn’t going to ride on how good their new logo is. But that hasn’t stopped Jeremy revealing it on Twitter.According to Clarkson, as there’s nothing much in the news at the moment it seems like a good time to get a bit of interest in the new show’s logo, so he’s tweeted it to a waiting world to fill column inches. Just like this.
To be honest, in a couple of year’s time it’ll be as familiar as Top Gear’s logo, and its simple retro ‘GT’ in old school orange with ‘The Grand Tour’ in black in the middle works. It’s not cutting edge. It’s not trendy. But it feels familiar and friendly. A bit like Clarkson, Hammond and May.
Newspapers. As there is very little going on at the moment, I thought you’d like to see our new Grand Tour logo. pic.twitter.com/xeePd1xsKM

With ‘New’ Top Gear seemingly in free fall with its multitude of apparently warring presenters and ever falling audience, The Grand Tour – which starts filming in Johannesburg in July – should find a willing audience praying for it to work when it airs in the Autumn.
And with a nice new orange GT logo, how could it possibly fail?
