Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition

We got the information on the latest Mirage GT from Gemballa on the 18/02, but details were a bit thin, even though we did get a set of seven pictures. It would seem Gemballa are keeping full details to themselves for now, but we knew you’d like the information we have got, and the pictures, so here it is.

Uwe Gemballa and his team are probably the world’s best Porsche Carrera GT Tuners. There have been a number of tuned and pimped versions from them in the last few years (you wonder when they’re going to run out of donor cars – there were only 1270 ever made), but this one looks particularly good.

Based on a standard donor Porsche Carrera GT, the Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition gets a power increase of around 50bhp, taking it to 670bhp (not as mad as some of the Gemballa Carrera GTs have been) and 470lb/ft of torque. I think you might describe that as ‘adequate’!

In addition the Carbon Edition gets a good set of wheels, lots of carbon fibre and a Black and White colour scheme.

Performance is up on the standard Carrera GT, with around 3.6 seconds 0-60 and a top speed of around 210mph.

This is not one of Gemballa’s extreme versions, either stylistically or in terms of power, but a nice looking job with a useful power boost
