The Infiniti QX30 is due to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, ahead of which Infiniti has released a new photo and more details on their new crossover.

Infiniti QX30 Crossover moves in to view with this new image
Nissan has high hopes for the Infiniti Q30 – which goes in to production in Sunderland later in 2015 – and perhaps even higher hopes for the higher-riding QX30, both of which are expected to massively increase Infiniti’s sales in Europe.
The QX30 rides higher than the Q30 and get butch additions like a rear scuff plate and aluminium trimmed bumper at the front. It also looks like there’s additional protective cladding on the sills and wheel-arches.
Infiniti describe the QX30’s body as a series of ‘…bold sections, deep upward cuts and intersecting contours’ with carbon fibre cladding and roof bar support. It looks quite stand-out to us and, although it will probably polarize opinion, it does look individual. No bad thing.
The QX30 also gets bold 21″ alloys with three-dimensional milled aluminium in different tones and roof racks that result in a sculptural view for passengers gazing out of the glass roof.
With a range of engines likely sourced from Mercedes – as is the platform, the same one that underpins Mercedes’ A Class and GLA – the QX30 does promise to be an appealing option.
Set to go on sale in 2016, we should get more information – and photos – when the QX30 arrives in Geneva.
