Lamborghini Gallardo replacement teased in pointless Hexagon Project video

Lamborghini is continuing the tease for the Gallardo replacement – expected to be the Lamborghini Cabrera – in a new Hexagon Project tease.

We’ve already had teases for what appears to be the replacement for the Gallardo (probably the Lamborghini Cabrera), but they continue today with a new tease video from the ‘Hexagon Project’.

With the Gallardo finally going out of production and the new Lamborghini due to be revealed in London in January, Lamborghini are building up a head of PR steam with the first teaser video designed to intrigue and entice. Except it really doesn’t.

What we get is a ‘Heist’ type video about a trio of young Londoners planning to break in to the Lamborghini factory and steal the first look at Lamborghini’s exciting new supercar. But the tease video is very contrived and gives us zero information.

But if our intrepid London trio do get to Sant’Agata in the next few tease videos Lamborghini has planned (oh, goody), they will probably see a new Gallardo with styling cues from the Aventador powered by a tweaked and fettled version of Lambo’s 5.2 litre V10 delivering around 600bhp.

But until they do, it looks like we’re in for a run of probably three more tease videos for the Lamborghini Cabrera before it’s revealed – or at least some proper official details are announced – just before Christmas.
