Land Rover Discovery Sport carries Land Rover’s custom SANTA Cabin (+video)

As a festive promo for the Discovery Sport, Land Rover has created a custom cabin for Father Christmas which can be stored in the Sport.

It’s December, which means Christmas is round the  corner and car makers are racking their brains to come up with a festive marketing angle.

Say hello to Land Rover’s compact Christmas cabin, a bespoke Land Rover creation for up to two adults to sleep snugly at the North Pole in temperatures as low as -20C. And it all breaks down to fit in a Discovery Sport. Which is rather handy.

Not only does the Santa Cabin fit in the Discovery Sport, there’s room for all the nuts and bolts to put it together, festive decorations, carrots in the centre console and baubles in the glove box.

Muhammed Malik, Land Rover Packaging engineer. said:

Anything that wears the Land Rover badge has to be capable and versatile, with beautiful, simple design. Our cabin also had to be sustainable and easily transportable.

We are used to working with VIP clients at Land Rover, but this was definitely one of the most unusual.

And just so no one can accuse them of being frivolous with the creation of their Santa Cabin, Land Rover say they will be using it to support future events and experiences.

Until Santa needs it again next year, that is.
