McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection – the 570GT moves to the dark side

The McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection has been revealed as a run of just 100 570GTs from McLaren’s MSO with new stealth design. Costs from £179,950.

Car makers do love a ‘Black Edition’, and even supercar makers aren’t immune from the lure of a bit of ‘Black’ to tempt buyers in to showrooms. Step forward the new McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection.

The new McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection is a limited run of just 100 cars put together by McLaren’s Special Operations, with a distinct focus on ‘Black’ and ‘Stealth’.

Taking McLaren’s ‘comfortable’ 570GT as its starting point, MSO has set out to create a car which is uncompromising dark in looks, with everything from a carbon black paint job to a carbon black ignition key.

The exterior Carbon Black paint job is joined by the MSO Defined Black Pack which turns the front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes black, a set of 20″ 5-Spoke alloys in gloss black, and black calipers for the carbon ceramic brakes.

Inside gets a new MSO Black Collection Trim with Jet Black leather and Carbon Black Alcantara, a Panoramic Roof with a UV-filtering black privacy tint, the aforementioned carbon black key and a bespoke dedication plate.

The McLaren 570GT MSO Black Collection costs from £179,950 – a £23,000 premium over a standard 570GT – with deliveries starting in the summer.
