The new Mercedes-AMG GT has only recently been officially revealed, but Mercedes are already on to the track glory stuff for the new GT with this, the new Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Visually, the GT3 looks aggressive with its selenite grey magno matt paint job covering the widened body, with big big air intakes, huge diffuser and rear wing and side exhausts.
Under the skin, Mercedes has fitted the GT3 with a modified version of the 6.2 litre V8 used in the SLS AMG GT3 mated to a six-speed sequential racing gearbox mounted in a transaxle setup on the back axle for weight distribution, with double wishbone suspension made almost entirely from aluminium.
The Mercedes-AMG GT3 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week, with deliveries to race teams expected to start before the end of 2015.
