Our first efforts on the new Aston Martin Vantage configurator
The new 2018 Aston Martin Vantage on-line configurator has now gone live, just a day after Aston Martin revealed their new Vantage to the world.
Yes, at £120,000 it is a chunk more than you’d need to pay for the current Vantage, but it’s in the ball-park when you pitch it against cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo. And it does look like it offers plenty for the money.
From new Bond DB10 inspired looks to a new chassis borrowed from the new DB11, and the same 503bhp AMG V8 the DB11 now has, performance is strong and appeal is dialled up to 11.
Although you won’t actually be able to take delivery of the new Vantage until 2018, it is already on sale at AML’s dealers, and now you can go and configure you new car (or, for most of us, your wish-list spec) with the new Vantage Configurator.
AML has done a decent job of letting you spec up a lot of detail on the new Vantage Configurator, with plenty of options to choose from, including a new palette including very ‘un-Aston’ ‘in yer face’ colours.
Specccable options on the configurator include everything from side gills to centre caps and wing badging on the outside, to leather, stitching, audio, technology and jewellery on the inside, as well as accessories like luggage and covers.
