New Lamborghini Huracan Evo
The new Lamborghini Huracan EVO arrives as a heavily revised Huracan complete with the 631bhp of the Huracan Performante and a £198k price tag.
It’s time for an update for the Lamborghini Huracan – three months after its Audi sibling got a tweak or three – so step forward the new 2019 Lamborghini Huracan EVO.
The Hurcan EVO (it’s an ‘evolution’, don’t you know) isn’t just a tech and cosmetic makeover, but comes with the Huracan Performante’s power from the Lamborghini V10 which means an increase to 631bhp and 442lb/ft of torque enough, say Lamborghini, for a 0-62mph blast of just 2.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 201mph.
It comes with a delightfully named Dinamica Veicolo Integrata ECU to organise things, as well as a new rear-wheel steering system and changes to the adaptive suspension for greater stability.
Up front there’s a new bumper with bigger air intakes and splitter, tweaks to the side intakes, new integrated spoiler at the back and tail pipes located a bit higher up.
Inside there’s a new 8.4″ touchscreen in the middle to bring the Huracan’s infotainment up to date, complete with Apple Car Play and an updated voice control system as well as gesture control, and there’s also the option of dual-camera telemetry. There are also an almost endless range of options to throw money at.
At around £198k the Huracan EVO is around £16k less than the Perfromante, despite the same power. Deliveries are expected to start in the spring.
