The new Peugeot 3008 – transformed by Peugeot in to an urban SUV – goes on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £21,795, in December.
Although we had a bit of a soft spot for the old Peugeot 3008, it really wasn’t the best-looking car you could buy, and its MPV status put it firmly in the ‘Unfashionable’ category. But Peugeot had an answer with the new 3008 SUV.Revealed back in May, the new 3008 turns in to a credible SUV for the road, complete with new platform, and giving Peugeot every chance of making its mark in a crowded marketplace.
Peugeot had promised the new 3008 would go on sale in November in the UK, and they’ve almost managed that with the announcement the 3008 SUV will be available at its UK dealers from December, costing from a very reasonable £21,795.
In the UK, there’s a choice of Active, Allure, GT Line and GT models, with even the entry-level Active coming with a very decent spec.
That spec includes Automatic Emergency Braking, a mass of airbags, isofix child seat fittings (x3), Cruise, Peugeot i-Cockpit, 17″ alloys, DAB, Mirrorlink, CarPlay, Bluetooth, auto lights and wipers, LED running lights, parking sensors, reversing camera, climate and LED tail lights.

A sporty look for the 3008 comes courtesy of the GT Line model, with a more sporty look inside and out including twin exhausts, two-tone 18″ alloys, LED headlights, GT Line badges and a choice of interior ambiences.

On the petrol engine front you have a choice of the fun 12.2 litre 3-pot with 130bhp and a 1.6 litre 4-pot with 165bhp, with the diesel offers a 1.6 BlueHDi with 99bhp or 120bhp, a 2.0 BlueHDi with 150 bhp or 180bhp (only on the GT).
