New Toyota Yaris Facelift price & spec – costs from £10,995

The facelifted 2014 Toyota Yaris has now gone on sale with prices from £10,995 to £17,695, a choice of three trim levels and four powertrains.

The 2014 Toyota Yaris has been given a bit of a facelift, as we reported back in April, and now, with the new Yaris going on sale, Toyota has worked out what the Yaris will offer for your money.

The cosmetic changes are most noticeable on the front with a new cross-shape nose and upper and lower grills, diffuser and new LED lights at the back and a higher quality interior.

Engine choices remain the 1.0 and 1.33 petrol engines, the 1.4 D-4D diesel and, of course, the 1.5 VVT-i Hybrid, with Active and Icon treim carrying over and Sport and Excel trims added (the Yaris Hybrid can only be had with Icon and Excel trim).

All trim levels come with a leather steering wheel and AirCon and the latest Toyota Touch 2 Multimedia system from Icon trim up and Aircon swapped for Climate on the Excel and Hybrid models.

The Touch 2 system comes with a 7″ screen and includes Bluetooth, Audio streaming, rear-view camera, trip data and vehicle settings, DAB and MirrorLink for connecting smartphones, Touch 2 with Go can be specced on  Icon, Sport and Excel which adds SatNav and connected services.

The Yaris Active (price from £10,995 to £11,595) comes with electric front windows, but you really need to go to the Icon trim for a few goodies with 15″ alloys, projector headlights, heated electric door mirrors, Touch 2, AirCon, front fogs and Bluetooth in the price (costs from £12,745 to £16,195.

The Yaris Sport (price from £14,995 to £15,885) adds 16″ alloys, LED running lights, rear LEDs, DAB, privacy glass and rear spoiler, and the range-topping Yaris Excel (price from £15,695 to £17,695) adding part leather seats, Cruise, auto lights and wipers and Climate.

In addition to the standard spec there are umpteed ‘Packs’ on offer, including the Design Pack (£350), Style Pack (£500), Appearance Pack (750) and Go Nav (£650), with a choice of ten colours including the new Island Blue metallic and, just for the Yaris Hybrid models, Avantgarde Bronze.

The new Toyota Yaris is now available to order from Toyota’s UK dealers, with first customer cars expected in August.
