Alpine A110 Pure and Legende go on sale in the UK
The Alpine A11o range was extended with a debut at the Geneva Motor how of the Pure and Legende versions which now go on sale in the UK from £46,905.
When the Alpine A110 revival arrived on sale, the only model you could get was the A110 Premiere Edition, which cost the wrong side of £50k. Which, however interesting the A110 is, seems a bit steep compared to an entry-level Porsche 718 Cayman at nearly £10k less. But for those who fancied an A110 but didn’t fancy the price much, the arrival of two new versions to take the place of the A110 Premiere Edition when it was sold out – the Pure and Legende versions of the A110 revealed at Geneva – gave us our first look at the regular A110 offerings.
Now, both the A110 Pure and A110 Legende go on sale, and prices have dropped from the Premiere Edition, with the A110 Pure costsing from £46,905 and the A110 Legende from £50,805. Still a chunk more than a cooking 718, but spec up the Porsche to match the A110 and there’s little difference.
There’s no performance price to pay for the cheaper entry level A110 Pure either, with it, and the Legende, both getting the same 1.8 litre four-pot with 248bhp and front and rear wishbone suspension.
On the A110 Pure you’ll have to fork out extra for Brembo brakes, Active Sport exhaust and 18″ alloy wheels, with 17″ alloys the standard offering, although leather and Drive Modes are still present and correct.
The A110 Legende isn’t far off the Premiere Edition, although Alpine want extra for Premium Sound, Sports Exhaust and heated seats. Both new A110 versions come in a choice of Blanc Irisé (white), Blue Abysse, Gris Tonnerre (Grey), Blue Alpine and Noir Profond (Black).
Both the Alpine A110 Pure and Legende are now available through Alpine’s dealer network in the UK.
