We saw the first pictures of Peugeot’s 3008 Crossover back in January, ahead of the official launch at the Geneva Motor Show, and now Peugeot has released details and pricing for the UK.
Peugeot has high hopes of almost creating a niche with the 3008. They say it’s a cross between an SUV, an MPV and an estate car. To be honest, we can’t decide. Peugeot hasn’t sent us one to drive, so we don’t know what it’s like on the road or to live with. Peugeot claim the 3008 is a non-conformist approach to car design and offers great roadholding, a high driving position and strong eco-credentials. We’ll have to take their word for it.
The Peugeot 3008 comes in three flavours – Active, Sport and Exclusive. You get a choice of six engines with either five or six speed manual or six speed auto, depending on the model.
Standard kit includes 17″ steel wheels, AirCon, electric windows and ESP. Move up to the sport and you get body-coloured bumpers, alloys and cruise, and the top of the range Exclusive adds panoramic roof, chrome bumpers and auto lights and wipers.
Sales start in the UK in November with prices from £15,995.
