The Range Rover NW8 has been revealed as an ‘Inspired by Britain’ Special Edition Evoque celebrating the Beatles’ Abbey Road Studios.

Range Rover Evoque NW8 – it’s the Abbey Road Evoque

All the Land Rover news of late has been about the new Land Rover Discovery Sport, but the car that started Land Rover’s real sales growth isn’t being forgotten in the marketing game with another new ‘Inspired by Britain’ Limited Edition – following on from the Evoque SW1 – the Range Rover Evoque NW8.
Land Rover has taken the zebra crossing at Abbey road as its inspiration for a new graphic for the NW8, which shows four stylised Evoques across a zebra crossing graphic, evoking the cover photo of Abbey Road.
Interestingly, rather than having one of the Evoques on the graphic without tyres to emulate Paul’s shoeless walk, Land Rover has chosen to take the roof off one of the Evoques instead, perhaps a not so subtle hint that the Evoque convertible is on the way, although Land Rover say the graphics represent the 2008 LRX Concept, Evoque five-door, Evoque Coupe and 2012 Evoque Convertible Concept.
Cosmetic tweaks to make the Evoque an NW8 include a Fuji White paint job with Firenze Red roof, door mirrors and ‘Range Rover’ lettering and a set of 20″ Narvik Black alloys. Other exterior titivations include darkened headlights and foglamps, Santorini Black wing vents, grill and bumper inserts.
Inside the NW8 comes with Taurus leather Ebony seats with Pimento perforated inserts (or Ebony inserts if you prefer), ‘Evoque’ embroidered headrests, Red Drive Selector and flappy paddles and a white gearlever with red graphics.
Land Rover are building just 1,000 units of the Evoque NW8, but it doesn’t look like they’re going to be offered in the UK.
