We make no secret of the fact that if you want to spend money on making your Range Rover (or Evoque or Sport) more individual, then the best route is with Overfinch.
But Overfinch don’t just do the cosmetic stuff, they also do performance upgrades, and it looks like Overfinch’s new Performance Package for the Range Rover Sport will be on the road before Land Rover gets its Range Rover Sport R (or whatever it’s going to be badged) in showrooms.
The Performance Package ups the Sport’s output to 545bhp with a digital remap, but it also gets a Bluetooth-controlled track mode button on the key fob – which is made from aerospace-grade aluminium – that opens Twin Pulse Width Modulated valves in the Overfinch quad pipe exhaust system to make a noise like Thor gargling after a heavy night.
Beyond the performance and power on tap, you can spend as much as you like on exterior and interior updates with Overfinch, from 21″, 22″ and 23″ alloys via an Overfinch Body Styling Package – with subtle tweaks all round and carbon fibre – to a wide range of interior updates including carbon fibre trim and Bridge of Weir Leather with lots of stitching options.
Kevin Sloane, Overfinch boss, said:
Our customers demand excellence in engineering and craftsmanship: that’s a given. But they’re also looking for something that they simply cannot find elsewhere – not exclusivity for its own sake, but the exclusivity that comes from owning a vehicle that is made for them and to their vision. The Overfinch Range Rover Sport is that vehicle.
The starting point for the Overfinch Power Package for the Range Rover Sport is £87,995, although it will be a chunk more by the time you’re tempted by some of the appealing options.
