Romans International have put together an infographic detailing the top twenty supercars from the last twenty years, from the Ferrari Testarossa to the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Supercars – you’ve got to love ’em.
For most of us a real supercar is out of reach, but that doesn’t stop us lusting after them, and it also doesn’t stop us having opinions about which are the best.
Top car dealers Romans International are playing the ‘Greatest Supercars’ game with an infographic detailing the top 20 from the last twenty years; everything from the Ferrari Testarossa of 1984 through to the Porsche 918 Spyder (which still hasn’t arrived).
As always with lists like this there are contentious entries and other conspicuous by their absence. Where, for example, is the ground-breaking Porsche 959, and why is the Ferrari F40 – considered by many to be the best of the Ferrari hypercars – not on the list? And why is the Honda NSX listed as the Acura NSX and why is the Ford GT in there at all?
But that’s the joy of a ‘Top’ list – we all have an opinion. Romans complete list is:
- Ferrari Testarossa
- Acura NSX
- Jaguar XJ220
- McLaren F1
- Ferrari F50
- Dodge Viper
- Lamborghini Diablo
- Pagani Zonda
- Lamborghini Murcielago
- Enzo Ferrari
- Koenigsegg CC8S
- McLaren SLR
- Porsche Carrera GT
- Maserati MC12
- Ford GT
- Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
- Aston Martin One-77
- Noble M600
- Hennessey Venom GT
- Porsche 918 Spyder
The list was obviously compiled before the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari arrived, but what else is missing or shouldn’t be in there?

No Gumpert and no Aventador and I agree – where’s the F40?

Looks as though the list was put together for Romans by an American.
